L.A. Daff in the years between 1927 and 1931 executed the illustrations for New Zealand Forest Birds, and New Zealand Sea and Shore Birds, the coloured illustrations of Dr. Oliver's book on New Zealand Birds, and the drawings for the splended series of coloured postcards of which a very large number were sold.
In later years she illustrated books by Mrs. Moncrief and others, and her designs were used as cover-decorations by the Forest and Bird Protection Society.
