In 1902 a series of postcards were issued by the NZ Tourists and Health Resorts.
There were three series each of ten postcards. The first two series cards were chromolithographs printed in NZ by A D Willis. The artists was Benoni White.
The address side of the cards issued in 1902, [series one], features a Maori carving, the royal arms and three canoes, lithographed in red.

In 1904, the cards were reissued, [series two], with Mount Earnslaw and Lake Wakatipu on the address side.

The [third series] were produced after A D Willis died. They were photographs and printed in Germany.
